Cought up in the mix on that Whoride

From West Oakland, The Whoridas took a different approach with a unique style unlike that of typical west coast sound at the time. Mr. Taylor and King Hasaan, family members of Saafir, originally appeared in the Hobo Junction crew. After earning recognition amongst the underground rap scene, they were picked up by South Paw Records, a division of Delicious Vinyl. This is some fresh west coast hip hop with catchy lyrics and funky beats. To this day, I still find myself reciting lyrics from the Whoridin' album... Pounds, ki's and oz's, rakin' in dough like leaves off fallin' trees.
